With four weeks remaining in the 2011 NFL season, coaches, players, organizations and fans are starting to get tight. For the Green Bay Packers, questions are starting to arise: will they go for the undefeated season? Should they sit their key starters for a rest and avoid major injuries down the stretch? Lose one now and run the table in the playoffs?

In the NFL history of Super Bowl winning teams, six of seven teams went 12-0 during the regular season. Green Bay is still trying to secure a first-round bye and home field throughout the playoffs. The Packers won last year’s Super Bowl by passing the ball and playing good defense. This season, the defending Super Bowl champions are allowing 397.8 yards per game on defense. Keep in mind there has never been a team advance to the big game giving up that many yards.
