Over the past 10 months the NFL has had a lot on their plate with the ongoing bounty case, the discussion of possibly restructuring the game by removing kick-offs and the proposal of expanding the playoffs from 12 teams to 14, or even 16.
The idea of expanding the current NFL playoff system by two or four more teams will be on the competition committee’s agenda after the NFL’s new league year starts in a few months. The proposal is to add two to four more teams, possibly removing the bye week, making the wave of playoff games even more exciting.

I’m not a professional odds maker. Please, please don’t bet the farm or mortgage the house on the above information, even though I’m 132-79-1 after Week 14 and totals include week 15 NFL TNF winner. I pick games straight-up, concentrating on NFL team rankings both offensively and defensively, injuries, overall statistics, schemes, 53 man roster personnel and I evaluate a lot of film.
