The Seattle Seahawks host Green Bay in the 2014 NFL Kickoff game tonight they have a 15-1 record at CenturyLink Field the past two seasons. The Hawks, who are also tied for the third-longest active winning streak for home openers (5), can improve those numbers tonight which will be a very hostile environment for Packers.  The Green Bay hold the record for the most wins on road openers (53) in the NFL and the fourth-best winning percentage in openers on the road (.582, 53-38-2) which makes this game extremely interesting. The replacement referees won’t decide the outcome of this game.
The AFC Champion Denver Broncos will carry a huge chip on their shoulder throughout the 2014 season which for them starts on Sunday against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in the Mile High city. The Broncos have posted a 40-13-1 (.755) record in home openers, the best record in the NFL. Denver has also won 17 of their past (20) home openers. The New England Patriots will begin the year at Miami having won 10 consecutive openers. With a win on Kickoff Weekend, the Patriots can become just the third franchise to win 11 or more consecutive season-opening games in NFL history.
