When comparing two young quarterbacks coming into the prime of their NFL careers, the similarities are very close for two of the NFL’s most productive players in Atlanta Falcons Matt Ryan and Baltimore Ravens Joe Flacco. The comparisons go back to the 2008 NFL Draft class, both first rounders with Ryan a top five pick going third overall and Flacco as the eighteenth selection making them the only quarterbacks taken in the first round that year.
Lets compare their NFL careers to this point, both have been very impressive and face off Sunday in the battle of the birds Falcons vs. Ravens. This Sunday marks only the second time these productive QB’s have gone head to head.
Closing in on the mid-way point of the 2014 season and their seventh season of their young careers, Falcco and Ryan have surpassed all expectations and have one Super Bowl win between the them. Joe Flacco lead his team to a Super Bowl ring and was the first to 62 wins.
