The 2018 NFL season is coming to a close as week 17 weekend is here.  The worst day for NFL Coaches is near, Black Monday is just five days away and for those coaches riding the hot seat for the last six weeks, they will receive some very needed relief. Others who have player and some fan support want to remain at their position but ownership has other plans.  More importantly the NFL is a schedule driven business and the train stays on track moving at an optimal rate regardless of who is at the helm. Let’s take a look at some of the NFL’s Important Dates early in 2019.
December 31st BLACK MONDAY!
January 5-6th Wild Card Playoffs
January 12-13th Divisional Playoffs
January 14th  Deadline for college players who are underclassmen to apply for special eligibility. A list of underclassmen who have been approved for entry into the 2019 NFL Draft will be sent to clubs on January 18
January 19th East-West Shrine Game, Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Florida and NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California
January 20th  AFC & NFC Championships
January 26th Senior Bowl,Ladd-Peebles Stadium, Mobile, Alabama
February 3rd Super Bowl LIII, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia
February 26th March 4th NFL Scouting Combine, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana
April 25th – 27th 2019 NFL Draft, Nashville, Tennessee
