Once again the Alabama Crimson Tide was on full display leading the SEC with 11 players on the 2016 All-SEC Coaches Football Team.  This included 7 of the 11 players on the first team.  Louisiana State University had 9 players, Auburn War Eagles, Florida Gators and Texas A&M all had 6 players represented.

The 2016 All-SEC teams included 21 players with multiple appearances including;  Mississippi Evan Engram, Texas A&M’s Myles Garret and Tennessee’s Derek Barnett have been voted All-SEC for the third straight season.  The following players were named to this prestigious team for the second year; Garrett, Cam Robinson and Jonathan Allen from Alabama, Vanderbilt’s Zach Cunningham, Florida’s Jalen Tabor and Auburn’s Daniel Carlson (coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players).
