BLACK MONDAY A VERY IMPORTANT DATE

By Tony Softli The 2018 NFL season is coming to a close as week 17 weekend is here.   The worst day for NFL Coaches is near, Black Monday is just five days away and for those coaches riding the hot seat for the last six weeks, they will receive some very needed relief.  Others who have player and some fan support want to remain at their position but ownership has other plans.   More importantly the NFL is a schedule driven business and the train stays on track moving at an optimal rate regardless of who is at the helm. ...

Cleveland Brown’s QB Baker Mayfield and teammates took Carolina Panthers to the wood shed for their fifth straight loss.  Despite another solid performance from Panthers All-Purpose back Christain McCaffrey, Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry was too much! Oakland Raiders finally gave the Black Hole something to cheer about, with a WIN over the Pittsburgh Steelers. ...

SHERMAN RETURNS TO THE CLINK

By Tony Softli Cam Chancellor was the BOOM in the Seattle Seahawks secondary, Earl Thomas maybe the best safety from sideline to sideline in the NFL for his time in a Seahawk uniform.  The man that set the tone for the L.O.B. was Richard Sherman.  An aging vet cut during the off season by the Seahawks, carrying a 11 million dollar contract coming off an Achilles surgery just didn’t add up for the Seahawks brass. A first ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer in my mind has 32 career interceptions, returned two for touchdowns and 401 total tackles.  He...
